about this poster

Yellow alarm clock and coffee at sunrise poster

On a small balcony table, a yellow alarm clock with a turquoise face sits beside a steaming cup of coffee. Before them, red-tiled rooftops stretch to a tall stone bell tower, while the sun rises in an orange and blue sky. This morning poster captures the first moment of the day, when you take your time before heading out. The orange, brick red, blue and green tones make for a gentle, soothing scene. The title “Rise and Shine” sets the tone.

A poster for a good start to the day in the kitchen

Its sunrise colors pair well with a kitchen, a bedroom or an office, on a wall that catches the morning light. It goes nicely with wood, terracotta, colorful dishes and a breakfast nook. It can be paired with other posters about coffee or city rooftops. It’s a charming gift idea for an early riser, a coffee lover, a friend who just moved in or someone starting a new job.

Your questions

What does “Rise and Shine” mean?

It’s an English expression for wishing someone a good wake-up, the equivalent of “up you get, the day is starting.” It accompanies a yellow alarm clock and a cup of coffee facing the rising sun.

Which room is best for this morning poster?

It works very well in a kitchen or breakfast nook, but also in a bedroom or an office. Its orange and blue tones bring in light.

Choosing the size and the spot

Measure the space available on your wall, allowing for the frame you want to use. Then compare the sizes offered on this page and check the orientation of the artwork.

For a set of several posters, also plan the gaps between the frames. Keep your decor away from water splashes and heat sources.
