White sailboat on San Francisco Bay poster

San Francisco poster, white sailboat under the Golden Gate

With all sails set, a white sailboat glides across San Francisco Bay. Behind it, the Golden Gate Bridge spreads its red silhouette in front of the Marin hills, while a light mist curls above the water. The title “SAN FRANCISCO” crowns the scene, in the style of illustrated travel posters. This San Francisco poster sets 3 bold colors against each other: the red of the bridge, the blue of the bay and the white of the sail, with the mist as a backdrop.

A bay poster for a sailing lover

Its blues and vivid red suit a living room, bedroom, office or waterfront home. In landscape orientation, it spans the width of the bay and sits nicely above a sofa, a sideboard or a dresser. It pairs well with light wood, rope, white and nautical touches. You can combine it with other California or world harbor posters. It’s a gift for a sailor, a lover of San Francisco or someone who has lived on the American West Coast and will recognize the red bridge and the white sail.
