Tennis player smashing on a clay court poster

Tennis smash poster on clay court, “OVERHEAD SMASH”

The player rises high above the clay court, arm stretched toward the sky, racket at the end of it. This tennis smash poster captures the exact instant the yellow ball passes near the handle, just before the strike. Dressed in white, the player stands out against a green grandstand and a row of tall poplars framing the scene. The ochre of the court and the greens of the background create a warm, dynamic image. The title “OVERHEAD SMASH” names this powerful shot that often ends a rally.

A smash full of energy for a bedroom or a gym

Its vertical lines and momentum suit a young athlete’s bedroom, an office, a gym or a clubhouse. The ochre of the clay pairs well with wood, leather and beige walls, while the green of the poplars matches a few houseplants. It complements a series of tennis action posters, with a serve or a volley. Give it to a player who loves to smash, a coach, or a teenager who has just started competing.
