Potted fern on a botanist’s table poster

Potted fern poster on a botanist’s table, “GREEN STUDY”

A large fern frond unfurls its finely cut leaves above a terracotta pot, set on a botanist’s table of weathered wood. A small magnifying glass waits nearby, as if the observation had just been interrupted. The soft light of a greenhouse bathes the scene and brings out the deep greens of the plant against the warm tones of the soil and wood. This landscape fern poster has the feel of a quiet study. The lettering “GREEN STUDY” underscores this idea of patient, attentive botany.

A fern for the office, the bookcase or as a gift

The horizontal size sits naturally above a desk, a console or a low bookcase. Its muted greens and warm browns pair well with walnut, oak, leather and sage green or terracotta walls. It extends a corner filled with real plants and works beautifully with other botanical plates or garden posters. It makes a lovely gift for a biology student, a friend who collects houseplants or a gardening enthusiast who has just set up a new home office.
