Colorful Petit Bayonne quays on the Nive poster

Bayonne poster, colorful quays of Petit Bayonne

Along the Nive, the quays of Petit Bayonne line up tall, narrow half-timbered houses with coral and blue shutters. Their façades are reflected in the river, where small boats are moored below. This Bayonne poster highlights the soft tones of coral, light blue and beige that give the Basque city its charm. The reflection of the shutters in the water doubles the cheerfulness of the scene. The title “BAYONNE” is printed in an illustrated travel poster style.

The quays of the Nive, for a Bayonne native

Its corals, blues and beiges brighten a living room, an entryway, a kitchen or an office. They pair well with striped Basque linen, wood, brick, ceramics and white walls. Its vertical format follows the height of the houses and shows off a narrow wall. You can combine it with other posters of the Basque Country, Biarritz or the Atlantic coast. It is a ready-made gift for a Bayonne native, a regular at the Bayonne festivals or a lover of the Basque Country.
